Procedures for water delivery to resort?

Can anybody tell me how they've done this successfully and economically? What is the proper timing? Do you ship from home, or do you have it delivered from a local Fl store?

We arrive at Disney on Wednesday so I have not experienced picking up the water from the front desk, but I did just order our water from Costco based on info and facts that were posted here.

1. You do not have to be a member of Costco to order items from the, we are not members and there was no problem whatsoever - we just did it online.

2. Address it to yourself, checking in on xxxx date, hotel name and address. I have read the hotel will hold it for 5 days. We ordered it on Sun for a Wed arrival in hopes that it will be there when we arrive.

3. A case of 24 (16 oz) bottles was $6.98 + tax, delivery is/was included in the price.

A lot of people order from Staples, but there was a charge for delivery so that's why we went with Costco. We saved $6-7 by doing so.

Being August I'm sure we'll go through that one case very quickly, but it's just a short trip so we did not want to waste any bottles by ordering a 2nd case and we can always buy it onsite if we run out.

I second Costco - have used them many times to have water delivered. Never had a problem!

I ordered water from Costco as well for our trip this past June. It was wonderful to pay less than $7.50 for a case of water that was delivered right to my room.

So glad I read this...was going to have water delivered from Staples. So you don't have to be a member...and there is no shipping cost???? Is this too good to be true?

We just got back yesterday and used Gardengrocer.com very successfully. We ordered 2 cases of water, plus a few other items and it was delivered on time (you give them a timeframe you'd like it delivered) and luggage delivery will keep cold items cold for you if you happen to not be in your room when it is delivered.

It costs $12 for delivery with a $40 minimum purchase. I will definitely be using them again.

If you aren't a memeber of Costco they add a 5% surcharge to your order. Still cheaper than paying it per bottle at WDW.

Will the hotel "hold" the water until we arrive? We check in on Staurday but it looks like the delivery will be on Friday.

We use Wegoshop.com for delivery and have been very pleased. We ordered water, juice, soda, snacks, breakfast items, crackers and cheese. The delivery cahrge in 2005 was $11, We easily saved that amount over buying at Disney.
It is a great service and we will use it again in October.

I want to order 2 cases of water from Costco.
1. When should I place my order
2. Will the resort baggage services deliver it to our room??

I checked-in to CBR last Saturday and I ordered my water from Staples on Wed, 8/15. Wehn I checked in the CM said that I had water and it would be delivered to my rrom after it was assigned. We got to CBR about 10am. After we got our room assignment, a CM called and asked if we would be in our room for the water to be delivered. It arrived about 30 minutes later. He told me that somebody needed to be in the room to have the water delivered.

I ordered 3 cases for 6 people for a week, we had about 10 bottles leftover and I told our mousekeeper to take them.

The hardest thing is trying to kep the water somewhat cold when it is 95degrees out.

We just used them last week and they were great-- we had a big order and needed some specialty food items too (food allergies). I also ordered all my diapers and wipes through them so I didn't have to pack them. Laundry detergent and dryer wipes and dish soap came in super handy, especially since I did laundry 3 times because we were just sweating through clothes....
