Procedure at BUf

so first I print out boarding passes, how does the seating arrangement work with SWA? Is it first on first seated? Now Ive heard a lot about some curbside check in? what is that and do I go to that and then park or what? where do they check my luggage? oh its so confusing!

Log onto the SW website 24 hours before your departure and you can print a Boarding Pass online. You will either received A, B or C. Once you are in the departure lounge the line is divided into 3 sections. You line up under your letter and then take whichever seat you like once you are on the plane.

I have never bothered with curbside checkin as the line never seems busy inside.

Yeah just print off your boarding pass 24 hours before and then go to the southwest counter and check in your luggage. The airport is so small that you don't even need curbside check in save your money!

Parking at Buffalo Airport is really easy. I always park in the orange Long Term A Lot. You will get a parking ticket as you enter the lot. Put it in a safe place!

If a shuttle doesn't see you when you enter the lot and follow you, there are little shuttle stops where you press a button and a shuttle will come and get you. The driver will give you a ticket with your location on it. Put this in a safe place too and give it to the driver when you return.

No I haven't had any problems TiggerCat, I just meant to put the ticket somewhere where it won't get lost and you can find it a week or two later because the time you entered is stamped on it.

Ive got to say that the Driver's at the parking lot in Buf were great, we returned on a snowy Feb night and he actually pulled up behind our car and offered to help get all our stuff in the car and remove some of the snow.
That just sealed the deal with us that we will always use Buf from now on, we had great service everywhere we went in that airport.
