problems with Yeti Vision...need computer guru!

Sorry, but I am totally 'vmk' illiterate! Honestly, I just want to get my free coupon for 5X7 pic.....my problem:

When I try to enter the station I get the following error:

"Reading files from server.....please wait" then underneath it is says textures/trainstation.jpg

but nothing happens..it gets 'stuck' there!! I have a puter that is only a year old...running XP Has anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? Thank you!

I had the same thing happen. I don't know how to fix it. I changed to a different computer and it worked fine.

Same thing happened to my sister. I would just try uninstalling it and then reinstalling it.

After you uninstall make sure you remove the Yeti folder. After you empty the trash search for any files that have yeti in them. Remove those also. When you reinstall the last screen gives you a choice to run the program or Finish. Choose Finish then double click on the Yeti Icon on your desktop.

Ok, my daughter's computer used to be able to run Yeti Vision. In the last week everytime the game tries to load, we get:
"Failed to Update"

Now we cannot play the game at all. We can get in to episode 1 but it stalls out when trying to enter the train station. We get the same error as listed by the original poster at the beginning of this thread.

I have followed the directions, uninstalled the program, checked for any remaining files and deleted them, emptied the trash can and then tried to download the game again. But each time I get the same thing. It fails to update.

Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

We have broadband connection, working with a wireless router, computer has requirements to play the game. Again, this game was working up until about a week ago.
