Hello all, we are having issues with the site xanga with the kids in school, they are sneaking in cameras, cell phones with cameras taking pictures in class and on the playground and are posting them online, some parents have no idea how to even get on xanga. I on the other hand have seen too much what have your schools done to prevent this issue and have you heard of a good way to stop this!? I was sitting with my son who was looking up spongebob on a xanga search last week and to my surprise up came a search of questionable people once he clicked on it I was it and immediatly told him to leave the room, what was pulled up was a pedophile named badbob what really freaked me out was it was porn and he was asking to webcam him and he would do the same and wanted to instant message. but here's the thing my parental control was ON it is set for my kids, it did not see anything that came up on xanga, I clicked on one link in badbob's site and again 4 live porn videos with no stopping on my parental controls nothing nada zip. I reported this to xanga with no repsone of course. xanga is now blocked completly on our computer. What are you schools policy's - What have you had to deal with - And has anyone heard of trademarking your childs image so if someone does post it online you can charge them?? Mother at a loss
