On 1/4/2004 I ordered our AP's through the Disney website with express delivery so they would arrive before we left this weekend. I wanted to get the vouchers so I could get the DDE before we left, I had read somewhere you needed the vouchers to get the DDE. According to the confirmation, the APs were to arrive before 1/11.
Since they hadnt arrived yet I called the guest services number on the confirmation to see if there was a problem. I was told there was a problem because they did not get my DVC membership number to complete the order at the discounted price and so the order was not processed. The website never asked for my DVC membership number, and even though the order was not processed my credit card was charged the day of the order.
I asked if they were planning on notifying me that my order was not processed, the CM was vague and just said they had a lot of problems with the DVC APs over the past couple of weeks because they were not getting the membership numbers. I mentioned the website never asked for the number and she just remarked again that there were problems. It was a very strange conversation.
She took my DVC membership number and processed the order, but since we are leaving Friday I will have to pick up the APs at Guest Services. To my surprise they took my credit card information and said I would be getting a confirmation email to use at WDW next week.
