Problems registering 2006 Entertainment book ???

I posted this on the Budget Board, but I'm hoping to more response here.

I've been trying on & off for 2 weeks to register my new 2006 Entertainment Book. I've been a bookholder for years, & have never had a problem before.

When I go to www.entertainment.com/register like it says to on the sticker on the card, the page never loads for me. It just hangs up.

I've tried clearing all cookies & temp internet files. I've tried using AOL browser & IE browser.

I even tried contacting them thru their help section; picking the question for problems registering book; filled out the form; & hit submit. But that page doesn't go thru either.

Argh!!!!

The page is loading up for me. I don't know why you are having a problem. I'm using IE browser.

I had the same problem. I had to go into the internet tools, and specifically allow cookies from entertainment.com. Even though I was allowing cookies. This was done after I fianally got an email to them and they got back to me! Good luck!

Would you have more detailed instructions? I know how to get to tools....but after that.... . Maybe the email they sent you?

My computer tech (my DH) is in New Orleans for the month, & I don't want to have to bother him with this.

Any help appreciated.

Internet Options to

Privacy to

Web Sites --will have an "Edit"

Click "Edit"

It will say "Address of website" Put "Entertainment.com" and click "Allow"

Then "OK"

Ok, did that. (Also had Bestbuy.com in there apparently.)

But it's still not working. I even cleared cookies & files again...and tried both browers.

Well, still don't know what is wrong. But, I emailed DH....and he registered for us from New Orleans. At least it's done. I didn't want to bother him with trying to figure it out.

Sorry no help for others with same problem.
