Problems paying dues online ****Updated - working now

I am attempting to pay my dues online today with my credit card but the members site is telling me that they are unable to process a payment for me because I already have a transaction pending. I have no idea what that pending transaction could be. Has anybody else experienced this?
 
Do you pay by autodebit from a checking account? If you look at the top of your account page under points, it should tell you if transactions processing on auto debit and whether you can pay or not.

That has been my experience when trying to make additional payments by CC but I pay my dues monthly by autodebit.
 
This happened to me last weekend, because on Friday I did pay one contract's dues with a different credit card. By Monday morning, the glitch was fixed and I was able to pay the rest.

Thanks for the replies. To clarify, I am trying to pay the lump sum dues for my one and only contract by credit card. That is why I can't imagine what the pending transaction would be. I haven't paid anything online since I paid last year's dues.
I will check back again on Monday and if the issue persists I will call Member Accounting. Thanks again!
 

I just had the same problem, I also tried to pay my dues with a cc. There must be some problem with their computer, it may be that the have the system down for upgrades try again tonight or tomorrow.
 
I know that if you are using a Discover card, you must call your payment into MS accounting. It won't accept it online for some reason.
 
The system is now working again. I was just able to make my payment.
 
I dug a bit deeper in my annual dues detail pages and it stated that there was an interest charge of $0.10 posted today (2/10/07)....I believe that is the 'pending transaction' that prevented you from being able to pay your dues. All fixed tonight, however, so I'm going to pay my dues before I forget!
