Problems modifying online

Hi all!
I booked us a couple of days ago with FD at CBR in a standard room. The site was was being difficult and the only available room was Dec 21-27. We want Dec 20-27. I tried modifying online but it keeps coming up 'problem with the payment method' - which is bizarre since I've already paid the deposit. So I called & could get either Dec 20-26 or Dec 21-27, but not Dec 20-27. Ugh what a headache.

Has anyone else had problems modifying online?
Should I just keep checking for Dec 20-27, or is this a waste of my time?

You could keep checking, but I think that time period will be hard to get since you're getting the very last days of FD to carry through your trip. If you really want an extra night you could make a separate reservation for that night, and maybe at a discount. You wouldn't be able to use your DP until you recheck-in on the 21st, but the check-out/check-in isn't so bad.

Enough people have reported having issues with modifying reservations that I'd just book a separate, additional day and be done with it.

Yes, I've had major problems trying to book and/or modify CBR, getting error messages even 4 days later. It's been frustrating! Good luck!

I'm relieved it's not just me! I tried to modify my reservation dates online to no avail. Definitely frustrating. I would also do what PPs suggested and book a separate/additional day, just to lock it down.

Thanks all! I'm glad I'm not alone anyway! I'll just keep checking. We need the FD promo for our entire stay so RO is out. If something pops up I'll just create an account under my DH's name, book it & cancel the one in mine. The modify feature isn't too reliable yet and I wouldn't want to lose the dates we really want while waiting in a phone queue :/
