problems making online reservation

I have repeatedly tried to make reservations online, but keep getting the message that my form is not quite complete. I finally put SOMETHING in EVERY field, even those not starred as "required".

Has anyone else run into this? Is there some trick to it that I am missing?

The form kept clearing out my "no" to borrowing points. It apparently required that I check "yes" to the box authorizing borrowing for this transaction. (Borrowing is not necessary for the transaction I requested.) I put that statement in the comments box. Clearly it was not known if I borrowing was required but the form would not be submitted without checking that box "yes".

Why don't they just tell you that if borrowing is necessary that you are authorizing it by submitting your request?

That was frustrating!

I surmise from what you're saying that you actually did go through the steps to book on line. My hats off to you! I couldn't deal with the "alternate dates" and "alternate accomodations."

I thought there was a statement there that gave them the authorization to borrow because that was another of my "problems." I wanted to be able to state from which home resort the borrowing was to be done.

The on line reservations form will have to improve before I will use it.

i had the problem that when I recieved confirmation it said I didn't request a ns room - which I did. I am going to call and add a day and a week at VB - so it really doesn't matter anyway -

I was very impressed that I got a response w/i 24 hours - after they had been shut down for hurricane...

Since I had a few minutes (and won't during MS's hours the next few days) I THOUGHT it would be easier and quicker to request online. I, too, don't like having to give alternate dates and accommodations, but in this limited instance I actually was okay with either boardwalk view or standard view, and had two different times that we are looking to book.

The "your form is not quite complete" with no clue was very, very annoying. If something is NOT an option, don't list it as one, people! And it would be great to have an alternative IF you wanted to have a second choice, REQUIRING one will not usually work for me.

They definitely need to make some serious improvements to that form!

Bobbiwoz -- the form does now say that if you have more than one home resort to state which contract you want the points to come from.
