Problems logging into VMK??

Hey all, ive never really had a problem loading vmk, but today its not loading. I had some xp updates on my computer but i dont think its the problem. ANy one have any suggestions. Any help is best thanks!

Me too!! I can load it on my desk top but not my laptap...even tried rebooting shockwave, lowering the firewall, allowing all cookies etc etc HELP!!

it was a joke although the part about not getting in wasn't...

they must be having some sort of issues because the laptop is taking forever to load and my desk top is almost loaded but going really slow also....we have high speed connection on both running XP and IE 7 live in the South ( East coast)

I am very slow at logging in today too, almost 10 minutes to log in. After that though rooms seem to be loading normally. I say just wait it out a day or two and if it is still a problem, then assume it is your computer.

Incidentally, I have had FANTASTIC response from VMK every single time I have had a computer problem like this. I use the Contact Us option and usually if it is a VMK thing and not a my-computer thing, by the next day it is fixed and I get an email asking me to let them know if the problem is still occuring. I have done this at least 5 times when VMK was loading weird and it always seemed to help them that I let them know.

It's been like that for me since the christmas things went up. I get stuck in between rooms too. I just let it sit there and eventually it comes up.

The contact us button has not been working for me since before Halloween. I used call for help to report it and they told me to us the contact us button

VMK seems to take a long time loading every time they add new things in the stores. I am wondering if they possibly need to increase their bandwidth?

I added my specs to my above post it might be helpful for VMK ( who reads here) to know what they are since "Contact Us" is down also.


I did finally get in on my desktop but very slow and laggy ( is that a word)

I had the same problem last night. I downloaded Firefox and found I could sign on much faster with it. Today Internet Explorer is working fine.

Go figure.

my vmk isn't loading in either and i'm on a desktop!!!

My loadin bar with fill til there's one-ninety-ninth of an inch ( ) and then it stops. and the screen never appears.

Is anyone else having problems logging into vmk? All of the sudden I can't log into vmk. It goes to black screen and then stops. Am I the only one having this problem and does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do? Thanks for any help!

I have problems to log into VMK today too. I went into once after a long time of trying and now I had to log out and it is so slow to log in

Just keep on trying if you really want to and will manage to go

Are you sure that it NEVER appears? Because mine gets to that point and stays there for 5-10 minutes, but after that it will finally load and work perfectly fine.

I have been sitting here for twenty minutes waiting for it to log on. It was bad before, but I was always able to at least get on. This has happened since Christmas stuff went up. I think VMK is having a lot of seperate issues this week or maybe one thing that they can't figure out is causing all of it. Late Host room start times, Host rooms staying opened until closing, contact us down, slow log ins, and my personal favorite getting stuck in between rooms. I am sure they are working on it and are aware of the issues even without contact us working. It's good to know it's not just me though, although I wish it was none of us.

when i logged in today it took me almost an hour to get in, and when all the halloween overlays went in it took me almost 2 hours maybe it lags whenever they change something inside vmk?

On mine, the load bar moves very slow and hangs just before the end for 10-20 minutes. Once I finally do get in everything seems normal.
