Problems getting quote from Dreams Unlimited?

I've been trying to get a quote from Dreams for a few days now, but keep getting this message:

Due to an extremely high volume of quote requests currently in our system, we are unable to accept new room reservation requests at this time.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please check back with us in a few minutes.


Anyone else getting the same error message or is it just me? :confused3
 
I tried a few times (not recently as my trip is booked) but I was put off by the sheer amount of personal information they wanted to give a quote. I know it is a personalised service, but really, all full names, address, phone no's, emails, dob ........ Not what I am willing to pass on just to get a quote.

I hope you get it sorted soon.

I believe they need the information as they put a room on hold when they supply the quote so you are guaranteed the room.

Never had a problem with Dreams :goodvibes

Never been an issue for me, Disney need that information when you go to reserve and Dreams go straight ahead and put a priority-hold on the room for a week whilst you think it over and make sure it's the right choice. Always had exceptional service from them, can't recommend them enough. Love how they continually check for discounts/pin codes too - and then automatically apply them to your reservation. TBH, can't figure out why anyone would book direct with WDW. :rolleyes1 :confused3

Booked one cruise thru Disney direct got 1 free upgrade (from inside to Verandah) booked all other cruises thru agents no upgrades, maybe nothing to with it but I wonder sometimes if they upgrade direct bookings in favour of bookings thru agents. Same when I booked AKL direct on Disney.com, upgrade to Savanah view on arrival.

I am exactly the same, If I want a quote(holidays, car hire etc) I only go thru agents who offer online annonymous quotes, as soon as it asks for personal details I stop (or enter false details if I can get away with it) I do transfer my cruises now to DU but only after everything is done on the Disney site 1st.
 
one of the problems is if you get a quote and then do it with disney yourself you will have problems as your in the system uner dreams
Used dreams and had no problems in past

The problem that Dreams (or any other Disney Agent) is that they would only be able to offer rack rate quotes. They need the details to be able to put the hold on the room and that is the only way they can quote with offers.

I blame the way Disney do their specials with only x number of rooms at this discount and so many with y discount.
