Problems getting onto the DIS

Hi all I have the DIS as one of my favourites, but when I click that it just comes up with internet explorer cannot display the webpage.

Then I can get on thru google, but the main page is all blue with all the various info headings down the side. The forums are halfway down the page, but only in main page format. (my username etc does show up)

Have I done something wrong? Or is it my internet? Every other website is fine!!

I am having the same problem!! I went to check on it this morning when I got into work and my McAfee blocked the boards as a possible threat...URGH...LOL!!!! I actually had to turn off my McAfee.
 
Sort of glad that I'm not the only one having the problem, but I haven't got Macafee!!

I wonder if it will iron itself out? I also wondered if the Dis had just up and changed overnight :confused3

I am having this problem as well, but only from my pc. I can get on just fine from my Android phone. The error message on my pc reads 'The remote device or resource (WWW.wdwinfo.com) won't accept connections on port "The World Wide Web Service (HTTP). This message popped up after I clicked Diagnose Connection Problems from the 'cannot display the webpage' page.
 

I'm having the same issues plus no matter what I do (like clear cookies) it won't keep me signed in for more than a minute or two. If I exit and try to sign on again in ten minutes, I have to enter my screen name and password again. The smilies are mostly question marks or I'd put ripping my hair out right here. :-(
 
I am relieved to know it is not just me. I tried to access the DIS from my blackberry this morning and got an error message. I tried again from my PC in Google Chrome and got this error. (Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to www.wdwinfo.com) I can get to the broads but with some issues.

Seems like the issue maybe resolved. I am able to access from Google Chrome and IE from my PC again.:cheer2::thumbsup2
 
McAfee Site Advisor is still telling me that disboards.com is a dangerous site. This just started happening today. I can get to the disboards with no warning on my work computer which has a different security program.

I'ver been getting Mcaffee saying it's a bad site started this am June 21 st. Using ie 8 here.
 
McAfee SiteAdvisor is also telling me the DIS is a dangerous site. :confused3
 
Same here regarding McAfee. Scary thing is...a few minutes later, I found out my computer was affected with the Security Shield virus. That's a nasty virus, and McAfee completely missed it. I was able to do a system restore from the safe mode, so I think I am OK for the time being. But it is too much of a coincidence.

I'm posting on my iPhone. I don't think Safari gets viruses.

I can only think McAfee is not happy with something. Some people using Avast had problems over the weekend.

Like you, I was unable to get on yesterday morning or even at 1 am this morning from home, but no problems at work where I have the same browser but different security software.

This is not a criticism but it would be nice if someone from the Tech Support team could post on here, if for no other reason than to acknowledge that they are looking into this. It's just that sometimes posting on here is like walking into an empty room, leaving a note and hoping that the person for whom it is intended will stop by and see it.

I think it may have something to do with those "Stay in the Loop" emails that some of us were getting.

I'm thinking McAfee is considering that to be unsolicited email.
 
Still getting bad site message today June 22nd.
