We've been to Disney a bunch and we always rent from A Baby's Best Friend. This year we went for the 1/2 marathon, and rented once again. Since a bunch of people from the WISH board were staying at CBR, we reserved there.
On arrival we were told that there was nothing for us from ABBF. I checked twice, then called ABBF, and found that they had delivered the stuff the day before. I called down, told them the stuff was in the cage. They instead sent up a pack & play (their own, not from ABBF), which I had to ask them to take back. I explained I was waiting for a crib. Then they wheeled in this ancient metal crib that looked like something out of a hospital nightmare. Again, I explained it wasn't what I was waiting for, that my items were being held in the cage.
They delivered the stroller but not the crib. I was getting upset at this point because I wanted to get the crib together before we went to dinner, and I wanted to enjoy my afternoon at the pool.
Finally, the crib arrives. I put it together, no problems, but I really had to fight with bell services just to get the darned thing to my room!
Checkout was even worse!!! The woman in bell services argued with me that ABBF was to go to the room and pick it up, not bell services, and she wasn't sending anyone to pick the stuff up. I explained that although ABBF had that policy in previous years, the stuff had been in the bell services "cage" and it was supposed to go back there. I was given a very hard time about this, and again had to call ABBF. They said they often have this problem with one person at CBR, and that they would take care of it. They even said that they would come to my room if the resort continued to ignore my request for pick-up, but I was in a rush because we had a plane to catch.
Last year we stayed at the Beach Club and didn't have this problem at all. I've had friends say they, too, never encountered this, but none of them had stayed at CBR.
If you're renting and you're going to CBR, just take this as a heads up.
