Problem with Tigger

The family is actually from my hometown and I would not buy it for a second, trust me on this one.

this family cannot be true disney fans everyone knows some of the characters like to fool around, we've had some of our best disney moments with the characters and Tigger is one of my favoritres. That yob was up to no good behind Tiggers back and what a shame that wasn't caught on camera!! Its poeple like this that spoil things for the rest of us.

It looks like the kid was pulling at Tigger zipper and Tigger went to push him away. If anything it is more disturbing that the kid elbowed Tigger in the head. The father should be reprimanding the boy for his behavior as well.

I completely agree - it looks like the kid was doing something behind Tigger's back and wasn't letting go... I just watched to video on the internet and the dad told CBS news that the next morning he had to take his son to the Doctor's due to neck pain. Give me a break... They also had a lawyer at the interview but claim all they want is an appology... something is definately rotten here!

I am definately on Tiggers side. It looks completely accidental. I certainly hope that the CM does not lose their job over that.

There is another thread on this somewhere with a different video. They show several slow motion shots. It is obvious that the kid is doing something and tigger at first trys to jump away from him but the kid almost seems attached to him, then he puts the kid in an arm lock to make him let go of whatever he is doing to the back of the costume. And when he swings the other hand around, well there really isn't much room between the kids face and tiggers face at this point and tigger can't see so his big paw makes contact with his face. I'm glad to see the video on this thread, though because the other one doesn't show Tigger shaking the boys hand afterward as if to see if he's okay.

They are pretty well known in town...and they are always causing trouble and making a scene about something. The kid was totally instigating Tigger, but they didn't really show that part on the news, huh? They are troublemakers!

I got the impression from hearing the family today of the Early Show that they were out to make a fast buck. Its sad, what comes around goes around I guess! I hope its worth it!

It looks to me that Tigger was grabbing him to stop him fromm whatever he was doing behind his back. If the family wanted JUST AN APOLOGY why did he go to the news and make a BIG DEAL over this????

Okay, Tigger didn't hit the kid. If he had totally lost it and was actually being aggressive, he probably wouldn't have shaken the kids hand afterwards. Also, when tigger steps away, the boy clearly has a firm grip on the back of tigger's costume, as though trying to unzip the costume. The character tries to step away and steady his head, and accidentally BRUSHES against the kid's face with his paw, when realising what he'd ACCIDENTALLY done, he grabs the kid's hand to see if he's okay.

Tigger did nothing wrong, if i'd seen the little brat try that, i'd have knocked him into the middle of it's a small world.

thats why they suspended the CM, they didnt fire him. They know that it was nothing. The whole thing is just pathetic.

Listening to the video, you can certainly hear his dad say "go for it" at the beginning. Both parents also call "Jerry" after the "incident" like you would call your child's name when they've done something wrong and you are trying to stop them.

I honestly believe the kid provoked Tigger. I saw the video this morning, and the punch didn't look bad at all. Can you believe the kid said he was feeling better because he was on pain medication?

Personally, it does look like a hit to me, but it also looks like something behind his back instigated it. Why else would he grab that kids arm that was going behind Tigger's back? I think it was planned and videotaped on purpose.

My thoughts exactly.

Disney will fire the guy. They never stand behind their own employees, unless they can benefit from it.

I don't care what the kid did or didn't do - Tigger barely tapped him. Either this kid's parents are out to make a buck or this kid is the biggest wuss in the world.

If you watch the video that "I got you im a bratt" smile never come off his face and when tigger "brushes his face with the paw" if he was in any kind of pain dont you think even a slight grimace would come over his face, even if it was for a second?
