Problem when viewing and not signed in.

For the last few weeks, when I come to the site, I usually read for a bit, and then when I want to contribute I sign in. The problem is when I am not logged in and I just hit the top left to navigate it brings me to the log-in page and I am logged in as someone else.

I hope this is not too confusing. I am not yet logged in, but when I try to change from different sub-forums, it tells me I am someone else and asked me to sign in. Today I think I was shelly221?

Can you tell me what is going on? If I am quick enough, I can click on the other person, but won't as I would be upset if someone tried to get into my account. Thanks.

Today, it stated that my IP was banned until I logged in. Then all was fine. I cleared all my cookies and history, can someone please let me know what is going on. Thank you.
