This is really funny...
I have a friend who is in Disney right now using the dining plan. She has used it before and knows how it works. There were two people working at the snack shop in Germany. She asked what was considered a snack and was told that anything under $4.00. Her family picked two items and took them to the register and asked to use her snack credits. The guy at the register rang up her order and then proceeded to tell her she didn't have charging privileges. Thankfully she didn't or he probably would have charged her card. She explained that she was on the dining plan and again said she wanted to use her snack credits. He then told her no that she couldn't because the dining plan was just for dining....... in restaurants...LOL. Thankfully she knew better. They called over the other CM and she showed him which button to press for snack credits and it went through just fine.
Another reason not to have charging privileges on the card you use for the dining plan.
