Currently have a 1 bedroom ressies at OKW. Love the extra space and the amenities OKW has to offer but the CR and Poly are still lingering in my mind for the proximity to MK and access to the monorail. We have 3 kids, DS8, DD4 & DD2 and I just can't decide which resort to choose for our trip in October. VWL is booked so that option is out. Curious as to what others would do...thanks for any suggestions.

I love the Poly...that's my "true" home...

I have a 5 year old daughter and a 15 month old son (almost 2 when we go) and the Poly is so convenient with the monorail. Of course, my brother drives it, so I'm a little biased. ;)

Good luck!

Go with a monorail resort! Either Poly or CR. The theme at Poly is more immersive than the theme at CR. But, the monorail goes through the CR - and that's just cool! :cool1:

Here's a vote for a monorail resort. CR is my personal fav, but I have not stayed at Poly. (Would like to). Having stayed at both OKW and CR, CR hands down is my choice, for exactly the reasons in your mind. Proximity to MK, and being on the monorail. You cannot beat the convenience! Yes, the extra space is nice, but for us, not at the cost of the convenience! Good luck!!!

The Poly. Book a 1 bedroom when the kids are older and I think the kids would enjoy the Poly theming more than the CR which I think is very adult orientated.

I am having a VERY hard time here too! First we were going to go in October and stay at a mod in 2 rooms.. then a friend said try for Christmas. So we booked 11/25-12/3 at WL deluxe. Then I found out that TL will be closed and thats my kids fav park. So back to October (room only). Then I realized if we arrived 11 days earlier we could have free dining. So I moved us up to 9/21-9/30 at POP. But I sooo want to book at CSR for the pool for the kids. We have 3 "down" days during our 10 day stay and want a nice pool. Plus I want a nice pool to relax at when we take like a 4hr break from the parks. So I am trying to figure if I can swing a mod on this trip since we need 2 rooms. I hate having to pay 45 days in advance, since we do cash only, this is a tight budget from here until like 8/8. I keep flip flopping in my head! Pop for the savins and CSR for the extra amenities! I cant stick with either!

We stayed at the Poly for the first time in July and are returning this July. With 3 kids, the Poly is super convenient and the theming is fun for them too. My kids loved the volcano pool, the Hawaiian music, and the tiki torches all over. The proximity to MK and the TTC can't be beat--the Monorail is great.

CR is nice but not as geared to young ones. The pool does not have zero depth entry (Poly's does), and the theming is more geared to older kids IMHO. You also cannot walk directly to the TTC.

Though having a one bedroom would be nice, I'd prefer to be close to the parks and avoid some busses. Poly gets my vote.

Polynesian all the way! Your two DD's could share the queen size bed, and your son could take the pull out sofa. My DD's friend said it's very comfy. The monorail would be the best way to get your family around and the grounds are wonderful for young kids.

I vote for the Polynesian, is great for kids your age. :)

Looks like the Poly is the favorite. Thanks for everyone's input. Not sure what we'll do...DH doesn't like the theming of the Poly but I maybe able to "sell" the transportation advantage of the Poly to him. Thanks again.
