I have been trying with no luck to get a reservation early for dinner at Boma for our last night. I had a CM tell me to make a reservation for 3 and 2 and they would seat us together, she said with us taking a 4:40 reservation that the dinning room would still be empty and they would have no problem seating us together by pushing the two tables into one. My husband thinks it is too much of a gamble, that we could end up at two tables on our last night of our big trip (goddaughter's first trip to Disney) and wants me to cancel it and keep trying for a table for 5 instead.

The reservation (for 2 and 3) only has one reservation number, does that help our chances of sitting together?

What do you guys think? :confused3

We have had this happen in the past especially with parties of 5 or 7 being told the reservation was for two parties. That said only one time in 7 trips have we actually been separated and we had a party of 9 that time. I would say at 4:40pm that you would be seated together but you might want to hang on to the original ADR and call back every day or two and check if you can get an ADR for a party of 5.

I just had to do the same thing with a party of 4 (getting two tables for 2) for the Crystal Palace. The CM told me that even though we are booking two tables, we are still considered a party of four and that is why there is only one confirmation number and we would not have any trouble sitting together.
