Problem...can you put my mind at ease?

I relied on my parents this time around for tickets. They said "we can get a great deal, you can pay us when we see you in Palm Desert." I thought any way to save money is great. And, it was a nice deal, 2 day hoppers for $93.
But, we just got them today....they are military 2 day hoppers. Am I going to be able to use them?? Neither my DH or I are military (though he is former Army Reserve), and don't have anything that we'd be able to show. Are we (or my parents, if I have to buy new tickets) just out on this one?
Any advice you can give would be very welcome. At this point, we'd have to get them at the park to be able to get them in time, we go to DL on Sat.

Nope, no one. I didn't know if you only needed to show the military id when you were purchasing or when you used them.....

In my experience they check my ID when I bought them and also when I used it
Call them up and tell them what happened. They might let you us them

It is not a problem at WDW ? I don't know about DL. Military people have the right to buy passes and give them as gifts, so it should be fine.....

I wouldn't stress. I have a friend that buys them for his non-military friends all the time. No one has ever had an issue to date and they've never been asked to show id. Of course, the post below mentioning a call would help. The friends may have just been lucky.

We ARE military but we have never been asked for ID at the gate...when I first commented on it, they said we assume that you showed the ID when you bought them....
they never asked!

BF is in the reserves and we've bought both WDW and DL tickets thru the military, and he's never had to show his ID at the gate. He also recently bought a 2-day hopper for his brother (even though BF warned that they might do random checks), and his brother had no problems.

We've been buying Disneyland passports from our military bases for over 10 years, sometimes for friends/family, sometimes ourselves, and have NEVER been asked for ID, nor have friends or family.

When my wife bought Disneyland tickets last month at our MWR ticket office, there was a posted sign we had never seen before. It warned that Disneyland was now checking for ID's when military tickets are used for entry. That being said, we were not asked for our ID's when we went last week. My guess is they check sometimes, and you just have to take your chances if you don't have a military ID.
