Probably really daft restaurant questions but...

Hi All

We set off for our second DLP trip at the end of this month :cool1:. I've just been having a read of the new brochure that someone linked and have a couple of questions about the character meals.

I've booked a meal at Cafe Mickey, in the brochure it lists a set price (29 euros an adult and 14 euros a child). We ate in Cafe Mickey last time but had vouchers so didn't really pay any attention to the price. Is it a fixed price? I assumed it would be like a 'normal' restaurant where the bill was dependent on what we ordered. :confused3

I've also booked the Inventions buffet at the DLH for our first night. This isn't mentioned in the brochure as being a character meal. I read about it on here and am so looking forward to going.... please reassure me that it will be a charactor meal? I'm guessing this will be a set cost as it's a buffet, does anyone happen to have an up-to-date price?

Many thanks in advance

if you prebook cafe mickey for the 29 ( i think this is pound sterling rather than euro) then you get a fixed three course meal but no drink. there is a choice for each course.

if you dont want to eat the three courses you can just make a reservation and choose when you get there rather than paying in advance

in the evenings inventions is a character buffet

Thanks very much for the quick reply.

Hmm, I'm not sure what it is I've booked in Cafe Mickey then. I just rang the reservations line and booked a table. Did I need to mention on the phone I would be interested in the fixed price menu or will I get given the option when I get there? You're right about the prices in pounds sterling... I don't think why I was thinking in euros :lmao:

Glad to hear Inventions in the evening is charactor. I've booked a table for 6pm. :thumbsup2

if you rang and just gave your name and number of people you just have a reservation

if you rang and added it to your booking or gave credit card details then you have prepaid for the three course meal
