I have 30 BCV points left, but I used them towards a February OKW booking where I also borrowed from that contract. I have an April use year. Because I "used" the points for February have they been removed or do I need to bank?
I usually don't have anything left, so I just want to be sure I do the right thing!

Thanks,
Sally

It sounds as though you have used the points (plus the borrowed points) to make an OKW reservation within 7 months. You shouldn't have any points left in your April, 2004 BCV Use Year and thus have nothing left to bank.

If you had wanted to make a reservation using those points for any date after April 1, 2005, you would have to bank them before they could be used. In this case, you should be all set.

You might want to get in the habit of having MS confirm the number of points remaining in your contract with each phone call. In this case, they would confirm that you have no 2004 points remaining and have your full compliment of 2005 points - minus those that have been borrowed for the Feb reservation.

Enjoy!

Since you seem unsure, my advice is to call MS and ask the CM to give you a current status of all your points by contract. If anything seems amiss or isn't as you expect (after reading Doc's post), you can get it straightened out now.

I also agree with Doc wrt getting a status after each transaction. I know it's saved me some grief! It's a lot easier to correct any "mistakes/mis-understandings" regarding which points were used when you take care of the discrepancies ruight after they occur!

Best wishes -
