Probably a VERY dumb question about DTD

I've just returned from WDW and know that you don't need tickets or anything to visit DTD - is it the same for DTD at DL?

Just checking - last time I was at DL (last century!!) all they had was DL park. That was it, nothing else, so not sure of how it all works these days - from the look of things it's a much bigger and more exciting place these days.

No tickets necessary for DTD! It was built with the idea of pulling in locals for dining, shopping, and light entertainment. I really enjoy DTD, myself. The energy is really different from any other type of mall -- definitely in the Disney spirit. There's a violinist who was there last time who entranced my then four year old DD. I'm hoping he's there again this time. She just started violin lessons a few months ago (loves them!) and I think she'd enjoy the performance even more so this time.

Actually one does need a very special E ticket for entrance to DTD, otherwise, you must go to the end of the line, and hope that Goofy or Pluto will be handing them out to the poor misbegoten souls that have found themselves without said ticket.
