Probably a stupid question about renting a car at MCO…

We have never rented a car at MCO – we are going through Alamo. So, do I have to go to one specific side (A or B) or can I go to either one? Will the car selection be the same at both places? We rented a full size. My husband is very tall and so a lot of cars don’t have the headroom he needs….hoping to have something “fit” (car shopping is fun with him!)..

FWIW – we are coming in on Sun Country – so Airside 4…B side, it looks like..

Thanks!!

Alamo is on both sides. Just go to the side your airline baggage claim is on.

Thank you! It's what I figured, but was second guessing myself. We will be tired and hungry when we arrive. If I went to the wrong place, my family is liable to have a meltdown about "all the extra walking I make them do" ;)

You can go to either side, but the exact cars won't be the same. If he really can't find anything that fits his height you might have to go to the other side.

Stop and get some food before starting the rental car hunt! Lots of food at MCO.

I thought that there was only one Car Rental Garage at MCO. ( By the Hilton Hotel area )

All rental companies have space in both parking garages so it doesn't matter which side you go to. Most people just go to the garage closest to their airline's baggage claim area.

Our plan is to get something at MCO. We did not have much luck last time, though. BK (our traditional kick-off-a-vacation-meal) was out of hamburger. We waited in a 30 minute line before they told us that. By the time, everything else was closed. We are getting in late this time, too...hopefully something is open!

Thank you, all!! New experiences always make me question everything :)

Or eat on the plane. We quite like the tapas boxes on both United and Alaska, for instance. Or bring snacks and protein bars.

I don't like landing hungry and having to make decisions while in that state. :)
