Probably A Stupid Illuminations Question

If you are on the Friendship Boats during Illuminations, like out near Y&B Club or BW, can you see the fireworks portion of the show?

You can see some of the higher aerials, but not all of them. A lot of the fireworks are pretty low and there's a bunch of trees between the YC/BC/Boardwalk area and Epcot. We've sat at Big River Grill and watched them before, we'd see a few bursts of fireworks every few minutes.
