Probability of POFQ reopening by Jan '04?

What do you think or what have you heard? We truly loved it there last February and have fingers crossed that it will reopen in time for our next trip. We may book POR, just to be safe, but I keep hearing rumors that French Quarter may be up and running by December. I wonder when they will start taking reservations, if so?......

When I was taking the boat from Downtown Disney to the POR, a cast member told me that the renovations should be finished in mid-December, but they probably won't open the rooms until the spring.
