Thanks!

It's the ONLY thing that helped me...truly bordering on MIRACLE for me.

Worked GREAT for my son. I never had too many problems in this area.

We tried everything including diet.

Bought Proactiv and it worked!:thumbsup2

It did bleach his comforter and sheets when he fell asleep with it on.

HTH

It dried my skin out really badly and didn't work much for me. I know I'm in the minority though.

Didn't do a thing for me. After I bought it, my co-worker told me that her son also had no success with it.

I saw better success with Loreal Adult Acne stuff & some handmade soap from a store in Franklin TN. Now taking 2 Vitamin C tablets & handmade soap -- face is totally clear.

Just my experience however. Obviously, other people are having success.

My DS used this for awhile and it just helped a little. We ended up at a Dermatologist's office for antibiotics and prescription creams & cleansers. His skin is a 100% better now!

I have used Proactiv for about 18 months and find that as long as I use it faithfully, my skin is blemish free. If I forget, or skip a day - BAM - huge zit on my chin! The initial problem for me was cystic-type monster pimples which lasted 2 weeks+ and left dark marks for several weeks thereafter. Odd, since I'm in my late 30's and NEVER had any skin issues until the past 4 years or so.

ITA w/kdudley3 though. Be super-careful about facecloths, towels and pillowcases, since the Proactiv will bleach the bejesus out of 'em!

Good luck!

We've had some patients come in that had some not so nice things to say about it.

Our office does chemical peels and laser treatments for acne; they're much more effective because they penetrate the surface of the skin.

I started using it during my first pregnancy when my skin went haywire. I could never use the entire line (cleanser, astringent, repairing lotion) everyday, too harsh.
I still use the repairing lotion a few times a month for blemishes.
It works really well. If you have sensitive skin, use it sparingly.

Both my DS and DD have used it and it has worked great. They will use it for a month or so, and then they are good for quite awhile, then use it again.

It didn't work for me. I broke out even more. Plus my skin was dry.

It worked to get rid of the moderate to severe acne I had, but once it was gone the product was too harsh on my already sensitive skin. It had peroxide in it, so it bleached my favorite sheets and some of my clothes, so be careful! I actually use Sensaria skin care now in the sensitive skin formula, and it works wonders! But if it wasn't for Proactiv, I don't think my skin would finally be as clear as it is today, so I have to give it credit.

I didnt think it did much of anything. And I so wanted it to... I was SO hopeful. Nada...

The chemical peel - absolutely correct. I actually was a guinea pig for a gonna be a dermo-friend-in-school. Thinking back, I cant beleive I did it, but it ended up being unbelievable. I mean, that was 6 years ago, and I have cleared up. Occasional mini-pimples here and there (especially pre-period) otherwise, crazy good results.

And my son - he likes the repairing lotion, the wash and toner make his skin WORSE. :confused3

This stuff did not work for me. In addition, it died my hair orange around my face where the cleanser touched when I washed my face. That was fun!

My mom used it. It gave her a bad rash and made her face swell. She was put on prednisone.

It worked great for me but it made my mom's face beat red for a few days every time she used it (which was really only about 2 times).

check out makeupalley.com and go to productville, you will find prob thousands of reviews. Makeupalley is my go to site when i have any questions about skincare/ beauty products.

I have tried about everything and I started using it after I returned from Disney in July and it's worked so well for me. I have very oily skin and it clears it up. I can post a before and after picture if needed.

Worked great for me. I don't use it regularly - I only have moderate breakouts *ahem* monthly. Before I used it,it'd take a couple weeks before all signs of the breakout were gone (I felt like I was just clearing up when it'd start again) Now, if I use for that handfull of days I can go virtually blemish free for months on end, just an occasional one every so often that sneaks through.

Also recommended to a friend who couldn't get her face cleared up and within a week it was gone - she'd been trying things for months.

But everyone has their own reactions and different things respond differently for different people.
