We got our pro pictures back from our destination wedding in Orlando! To all you ladies planning a destination wedding, especially in Orlando/Disney, you are going to love it! Hands down, best decision we ever made. It was so fun for us and our guests!
I guess I'll do a quick trip report with some highlights along with this... You can see a full trip report link at the bottom. I don't know how I am going to pick pictures for my album, we got over 1200 pictures! So obviously these are a few of them...
We opted to do our Disney/Orlando destination wedding not on Disney property. We originally were planning on having it on property, however, as beautiful as it is, plain and simple, the rules and regulations were just not for us. I give Disney on property brides a lot of credit, you have way more patience then I do!
Our wedding took place at the Marriott World Center Resort, which is about 1.5 miles from Disney. We arrived a few days prior to the wedding to get organized and things and as our guests arrived it was really fun to greet them and hang out around the hotel.
We had the fabulous Presidential suite at the hotel, which was amazing to for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in.
The balcony was huge and had an awesome view!
It was also awesome for breakfast!
We spent our days after we got there before the wedding visiting Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure {it was actually our groomsmen gift to my brothers}, we spent a lot of time at the pool, and I spent a lot of time at the spa! At night we'd throw little parties in our room with our friends who made the trip down {we had just under 80 friends and family make the trip from all over!}.
Friday {the night before the wedding} we had a private dinner at Mikado's, the Japanese Hibachi Steakhouse at the Marriott with some family members.
Following dinner we headed up to one of the suite's we had rented at the Marriott where we threw a welcome dessert party for all our guests. We timed the dessert party to go along with the Epcot fireworks.
We had fruits, cupcakes in our wedding colors, and different cakes and sauces...
as well as drinks...
With cocktail tables set up throughout the room and the balcony open for fireworks...
