Folks,
I have often wondered if WDW guests are allowed and able to use their own watercraft in places such as Bay Lake. I didn't see a boat-ramp at FW while visiting there in '97, but one could easily launch a canoe from the dock or the shore without a ramp. Is it allowed or are there rules against such activities? Just wondering.

No personal watercraft allowed on Disney property. I am a boat owner and I boat all summer long. Personally, I'm glad they don't allow me to bring mine along. I can't imaging how congested Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon would be if they did. I'm content to rent the slow boats that they have to offer. I can still have fun going "slow" on Disney Lakes (slow being a relative term, I'm sure).
