Hi,

Just wondering what is the best to get to the cruise terminal - a private transfer or the disney transfer??

We are staying at a Disney resort the night before the cruise so could utilise the Disney transfer however it is still going to coast $35 each and does not get to the terminal until 1pm.

Otherwise our travel agents have recommended Tiffany Town Car or Quick Transportation. Has anyone used these companies before?

Also, do you prefer the private transfer or Disney transfer??

Thanks so much!!

Hi. We have used Tiffany Town Car from Port Canaveral to MCO and found them very good. In 2007 it cost about $90 plus tip.

In 2010, we tried another only because it was a little cheaper and they had not long started up. They also were very good. When you get off the ship and have collected your luggage, you give them a call, (they are waiting in the carpark), and within a couple of mins they are there. :)

For a family of 4 it was less expensive than Disney Express.

We were going to do a private transer as we had done on all other transfers during our last trip. In the end we used the DCL transfer and it was too easy.

We checked our bags at our hotel (we were at WL). We checked in with the transfer co-ordinator and waited for the bus. Bus arrived we hoped on and away we went. We watched a movie on the bus about the cruise etc until we arrived at the port. We hopped off and checked in and went on board. Our luggage arrived later that day but we didn' need to worry about it.

Very stress free option.

You'll get varied opinions on this for sure.
I'm another vote for DCL transfers.

Easy and seamless. Unless your party is > 4 the cost will be within $50 anyway (and after travelling from Australia that's a small blip on the trip expenditure).
I rate the Disney experience from pick-up with themed coach and video. Luggage collection from your room about 8a.m. (you don't have to be there), appears in your stateroom early afternoon.
The earliest you'll be embarking with any other transport is 11a.m. if you're lucky. The 1p.m. arrival with DCL gets you rapidy on board - to lunch or explore and IMO the leisurely breakfast and pool or otherwise lounging around the resort, while savouring the anticipation of the ship, is a fair exhange for those 2 hours.

Thanks so much. I actually hadn't considered luggage pick-up by getting the disney transfer. I think for that reason we will go with the disney transfer!!

Thanks!!
