4nana was kind enough to share the name of their touring company on St. Thomas. I will arrange for him to pick us up at the ship and give us a tour of the island, shopping, Coral World, and Magens Bay. Does anyone know any similar service on St. Martin, or just taxis?

Can you share that information with us? If not, could you please PM me? I'd like to know more since I've been to St. Thomas twice and St. Maarten's once with DCL but would love to see/do more!

Thanks!

Oooo, I would love that info too please!

Thanks so much!

The website for St. Thomas tours is http://www.godfreytoursvi.com/. It looks like he'll take you just about anywhere in a really cool looking open van. Or by limo if you prefer. He has e-mailed me and said that my request for Drakes Seat, Coral World, Magen's Bay, and shopping would be $20/pp. Check it out!

Thanks so very much!!!

Have a great time!

In St. Martin there is not a lot to see. There is the Butterfly Farm on the French side, wonderful shoping on the Dutch side(Front Street). The French side has some high priced shoping and restaurants. I was never impressed with the French side. Other then that, there are a lot of nice beaches. If you do your research and decide what you want to do, you do not need to plan ahead. When you get off the ship you will be able to hire a cab, to give you a tour of the island, just arrange a price before you get in the cab. Another option is to rent a car for the day, it is an easy island to get around. If you do rent a car, make sure you find out what the different HORN signal mean.
