Just a hunch, but I'm guessing this new "feature" of hosting peoples photo's may be short lived and prematurely touted.
The humongous storage needed, the liabilities of someone uploading indecent images......

I have always submitted a request opening day when we have been traveling with a large group and wanted the private room. They honor them in the order they are received. We always made as many reservations for Palo as we could when our windows opened. If you are notified at 30 days that you have been given the private room, they will take care of cancelling any reservation that exists for anyone dining in the private room.

Thanks everyone. I think we are going to make reservations and then cancel. It makes me too nervous to just wait until right before the cruise. Hopefully we will be able to get brunch reservations as well.

I'm just off the Disney Fantasy. We had booked a dinner for 8 (2x tables for 4) on Pirate Night. Pirate Night was changed for our cruise to the following night but they didn't automatically changes Palo or Remy reservations. I contacted DCL and was told there were no openings for the "new" Pirate Night. As soon as we boarded the ship and got settled we headed down to Royal Court where we spoke to a Palo CM who changed our reservation date and secured us the alcove room pictured above, so all 8 of us were able to sit together. I was very concerned we wouldn't be able to change our reservation or sit together as a family but DCL took care of it in a matter of minutes once we on board the ship.
