Hi Guys,

As our WDW trip is for my DBF's 30th, I thought I'd look into booking a limo/town car transfer from MCO to SSR and return, just to make it that little bit extra special.

Can anyone recommend any companies I could contact and an average price?

Our trip is getting closer!! Just 92 days to go!!!! :cool1:

Never used any but here is link to DIS sponsor FLtours

Just got a quick quote from them which was $129.
They then state:
$12.90
This is the suggested gratuity that should be paid directly to your driver. You will have two drivers for your trip.
The standard gratuity for each driver is 10% = $12.90

To me that is wrong, if the suggested tip is 10% then its 10% on half the amount for each driver as they are only doing half the work each so that seems strange to me.:confused3

(obsolete)the way I understand this, $129 is a one way fare. Am I right ?

2 drivers : one each way. Total fare $258 + tip round trip

edit ; I just priced a round trip for 4 with a limo to MK resorts and thats $230 and tip is an automatic 20%

edit #2 : just looked at the town car round trip, it's odd indeed. Looks like you pay the tip based on the full amount, but each way. Odd ...

Yes, the $129 was round trip so they are saying tip each driver 10% of the round trip.

Thanks Wayne!

$129 isnt bad for a round trip but then adding $12.90 per driver, per trip? I may as well just use the ME and save my self a fortune in tipping!

Not something I would spend almost £100 on if I could do the same journey for nothing.

and on top of that, those $100+ could be well spent on another "very special thing" (horse carriage ride for example or any romantic experience ... well ok it's his Bday but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it too :) )
