Private in-room meal

With all of the talk of private anniversary events I started thinking how amazing it would be to have a private dinner on the patio of one of the suites at BWI one day (assuming we were staying in the suite of course). Does anyone know if something like this is possible? If not, I wonder if other room service options are available beyond what is on the menu for the resort?

oooh...this is a good idea. DH and I were just talking about what we're going to do for our 1st anni in December, we know we're going to get a mini-replica cake (because neither of us got to eat more than 1 bite of ours at the reception), and wanted to do something special. I'd be interested to see if this is possible

Yes! There are two ways I know of that you can do this:

1) Talk to Private Dining at the resort. You can call up to 24 hours ahead of time to arrange it. I'd imagine that they could accomodate special requests for items not on the menu if they had enough notice.

2) Work with WDW Catering & Convention Services the same way you would for an IllumiNations event. In fact, one of the choices we were offered was a private meal (with a cake and the menu of our choice) in a small room or patio at the BoardWalk Conference Center, so it seems like having the meal catered in your suite wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Sounds like a lot of fun!
