PRIVATE Event at CRT 9/28 and 9/29

Is there definitely a special event? Free dining is still going on which can get crowded and concierge level CMs get first crack at dining reservations for their guests.

Well, let me put it this way.

I am the one who got the word from a CM about this.

I was online @ 6am St, the first day that Sep 29 opened for bookings.

It was the very firt one I punched in and I was intot he system within 30 seconds.

There was NO availability for breakfast on the 29th, at all.

Other posters said the same thing had happened on the 28th for CRT breakfast.

Frustrated at not having even a chance to book for my 25th anniv celebration, I began trying to get some answers from Disney.

After four phone calls, I finally reached a Cm who was willing to check out the situation.

She told me that she found out that Sep 28/29 were booked for a private event.

She didn't say what that event was (don't know if she was even given that info).

So, there you have the scoop!

I only passed on the info I was given, and since no one has come forward saying they were able to secure an ADR for either days, @ this point I am inclined to believe the CM gave me true scoop.

Needless to say, I will continue checking online to be sure it doesn't mysteriously open up, but I am not holding my breath.

CM Shelly was on the phone with me for almost three hours fixing major ADR problems for me, so I really feel she honestly checked into this situation for me as well.

I hadn't seen anywhere that a CM had said this. Thank-you.

I am not understanding this Make a Wish Reunion concept.

These kids are terminally ill and soon will die-how or why would you have a reunion? I wouldn't think they all know one another?:confused3

I am sure there are Make A Wish kids at WDW every single day:wizard:

Make A Wish is not just for terminally ill children, it is for children with life threatening medical conditions.

Anyone subscribed to this thread will want to know they JUST opened times for breakfast at CRT 9/28 and 9/29. Either they cancelled the private event, or someone REALLY messed up.

I'd be kind of hacked off if that was my day, I called in 90 days out (or 90 + 10) then gave up only to find out they were loaded in later and I missed out!

We've always wanted lunch, and got that, but just followed the story with curiosity.

Have a happy ADR feeding frenzy! Say hi to me in line for early entry (for BBB) on 9/28! My daughter will be in a Cinderella gown and wearing a birtday button!
