I just booked a specialty cruise and am trying to book private dining for it... I called the number and they keep transferring me to a voicemail... anyone have any luck with calling and booking private dining? :confused3

I am currently looking for information on a specialty cruise with dining. I don't have answers, but I'm hoping someone has some!

You can book the Grand1 at the Grand Floridian and have anything from a simple two person meal to a full reception menu. You can also book just drinks and desserts or cheese platters, etc. After you get your reservation for the cruise you can then call private dining at the Grand Floridian. Leave a message and they will call you back usually within a day, maybe two if they're really busy.

Thanks so much for the info! So essentially the prices are whatever private dining would charge (basically room service rates)? Do they deliver the food to the cruise or do you need to pick it up?

They deliver it (for a $3.00 fee....I thought that was funny on the bill for some reason). They also provide a butler for $75. Well worth the extra $$ to me to have someone to serve you and take care of the food.
