Private Car/Limo recommendations

We want to surprise the kids on our upcoming August trip with a limo picking us up at the airport. I'm curious if people have a recommendation on a good car service to use. I admit I'm pretty clueless about which services to use in Southern California at this point.

I can recommend one service NOT to use, and that's limos.com. We had a very, very poor experience with them.
