Private boat in Cozumel??

My family and I are going on our first Disney cruise. We are going in October and have stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and of course Castaway Cay!

We were debating renting a "private boat" in Cozumel. Has anyone done this? Which company did you use?! How did it work out?! We are hoping for a snorkel stop or two and then a shallow beach area to wade around and let the kids have fun!

We are in Cozumel from 8:30-4:45 so a long stretch to enjoy the day!!

I have chartered a private boat in Nassau, but not in Cozumel. If you don't get any responses I might recommend checking the trip advisor site. That's how we found our charter in Nassau. Lots of options in Cozumel.

I'd love to hear about this as well. We are traveling in June 2017 and are trying to decide if Cozumel or Grand Cayman would be the best place to get a charter. We've been to both places before and we like Grand Cayman better overall but it also seems like the snorkeling opportunities are better there so does it make more sense to get a private charter there vs. Cozumel? Obviously we have time to make our choice so any feedback would be appreciated.

We have a private charter already booked for Grand Cayman. We will be there in October 2016, so I'll let you know how it goes. We have three stops in Grand Cayman: Coral Gardens, Stingray, Starfish Point. Super excited about it!! I wish there were more Disboards members who used a company in Cozumel. I went on Tripadvisors but there are a lot of mixed reviews!!
