Hi there! Does anyone have any of these vouchers left that they won't be using? My oldest ds is autistic, and I would dearly love to find some vouchers to help us out with the crowds and lines to see parades and some of the shows like Aladdin! We had some last year and they made a HUGE difference for him as he HATES standing in lines, and yes, we will be there during spring break. Ugh!!! Anyway, if you have some that you don't need they would be GREATLY appreciated! As always, if any are left when we are done I will be happy to forward those on. Thank you to anyone who could help me out!!!!

one last try-- anyone:goodvibes

Have you tried to talk to customer service when you arrive... asking for a special pass for your son like they issue for those in wheelchairs etc. They might accomodate this request but I honestly don't know. I would try to ask thought. It might make a difference.

Have a wonderful and magical trip.

Have you visited the disABILITIES forum here? They have lots of information about what you can do to help your son out.

In the simplest of terms, just to tide you over until you visit that forum.......first step is figure out what he needs. Next step when you get there is go to City Hall and talk about what he needs to see what they can do to help you!

thanks for the replies. Yes, we do get him a special needs pass which is a fantastic help with the rides, but I don't think I can use them for the shows. I'll definitely ask when we go again. :)

it actually sounds like the priority viewing for aladdin is the last thing you want. having to show up extra early, be crammed into that little spot waiting for them to open the theater... sounds like you might be better off just showing up after they start letting the lines go in.

yes we've thought of that too. Unfortunately, if we get in the end of the line and the place fills up, it will set him off 'cause the "plan changed" and there's no more room, understand? There's really no perfect solution, just little things that can help. Thanks for your thoughts. :)

i wasn't aware any shows get filled. unless it's maybe peak. my MO is to show up 15 minutes before or so and just hang out until they open the mezzanine line.

I can't say for sure that they do, it's just something we have to "plan" for. We are going during Spring Break and the crowds are going to be BIG! :)
