read something to this effect that resort guests get priority seating at park restaurants, citywalk dining and resort dining. This seems too good to be true....like how quick for an average size party - are you actually bumped to the start of the line? and if you have a large party, does this hold you up for long periods?

yes, too good to be true, but it works.

if you have the all access card for HRC, you will be ahead of the hotel priority guests.

if you have a large party, you won't be using the priority line.
you should make a ressie if you have a large group.

do that a few days out.
if you can't decide where to eat, you can book at the kiosk in city walk, in the morning, for the resturant.

in extreme busy times, i have seen hotel guests having to wait in the regular line for some places in city walk

And....not all City Walk restaurants honor the resort guests priority seating. I know Emeril's does not and I'm not sure about Bubba Gump. we also have not had good luck with it at Margaritaville.

Remember that there will be other guests who have priority seating too. You won't be bumped ahead of them and you aren't bumped ahead of people with reservations.

the 2 places we want to hit for sure are margaritaville and NBA city.
Thought about doing the NBA for lunch (have to check hours).
I am assuming it is like disney that if you don't go during the "typical" meal time, the less the crowd?

That's a reasonable assumption.

yes if you go off typical times for lunch and dinner it will be less crowded and is what usually I do everytime we are there and others will also recomend this too :thumbsup2

My wife got a quick at the reservationist screen at Margarettaville and here is what she said. If you are a hotel guest it is noted in a different color. When we gave our name we were moved to the bottom of that list(hotel guest). Not sure what the protocal is, but the hotel guest list moved much, much faster. It is important to let them know you are a hotel guest when making the appointment.
