Priority Mail machines...has anyone else used these?

These things are awesome! Our local post office is notorious for having a 30-50 minute wait to mail out packages. I noticed they had one of those Priority Mail/Media Mail machines sort of hidden in the corner. In less than five minutes, I mailed all three of my packages (Priority Mail with delivery confirmation) and left. I will definetly be using THAT machine again...NO wait!

Anyone else use one of these?

Yeah I used it a couple weeks ago!!! I'm an ebay seller and I only send priority with confirmation and it took me maybe 2-3 min to send 7 packages to different auction winners. Once the lady walked me thru it the first time, every thing was super easy!!!! And in St. Louis when the post office is closed you can still go in and use this machine!!! Welcome to the 21st Century!!!!!

Dunno if anyone knows this but if you print your Priority Mail labels from the USPS website before you go to the PO you get free delivery confirmation printed on the label.

You can also get it free when you purchase and print the label from paypal.

summerrluvv, Does Paypal tack on an extra charge when you mail through them. What I mean is; it's $3.95 to ship a 2 lb or less package priority mail through usps, is it the same through Paypal? Sounds like a real time saver, if their rates are the same as the Post Office.

Yup, it's the same price. If you ship any class OTHER than priority, they charge a .13 delivery conf. fee and a .20 label processing fee.

when you use the click & ship online, you can schedule a pickup. I've been doing this for a few weeks now and it works out great for me since I've been babysitting my grandkids during the day. There's a little place to click towards the top of the page when you've finished printing your lable to schedule the pickup. Now, the only time I go to the PO is if I've got an international package.

Wow, things have definitely improved! I've just started doing Ebay again after a very long absense and am finding a great many improvments. Thanks for all the info.
