Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can please let me know if Concierge suites get priority debarkation at Nassau and Castaway Cay?

Thanks!:confused3

I wasn't offered priority disembarkation on my cruise last month but concierge did call and offer us a private golf cart to take us to the beach on CC.

We've sailed in a suite on 8 of our cruises and have never been offered priority debarkation, but we did get the same call about the golf cart on our cruise a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if it was something that just that particular Concierge (Patty) was doing for her guests, or if everyone staying in one of the suites received the same offer.

I don't know if this is the norm or not, but on our Cruise last fall, on Castaway Cay Day, it seemed to be that the first in line to go ashore was chosen as "Family of the Day on Castaway Cay". My Family was first in line, actually we were there so early we were the only ones in line. The Head of Security came out and asked my boys if they would like to be "Special Security officers for the Day" and if our family would like to be "The first Family on Castaway Cay" that day. My boys had fun, passing stuff through the scanner (fake bags with stuff in them), they then got to radio up to the bridge to ask for permission to go ashore. We had the whole island to ourselves for about 15 minutes before other passengers came ashore. It allowed us to pick ANY spot we wanted on the beach! They had photographer there taking pictures, so I think this is a standard Magical Moment offered to the first in line. Head of Security, later delivered to our room two Special Moments Certificates and a 6x8 photo that was taken of the boys as Special Security Officers. :)

We asked this to our concierge in January and were told no. No offer for the golf cart, either. I wonder if it depends on the CM or if it is new?

Our offer ALSO came from "Patty", the same CM outahere had. So, maybe it is a special perk she personally likes to add?? (BTW we declined. Part of the fun is the walk. I love to look around at the island)

Sounds like fun. On our last cruise, it seemed like the first group on-board were the 5-K runners. Immediately after that, we got off. We were not concierge, just anxious guests! We were the only ones on the tram. We went immediately to the beach and were the only ones there too! I have some great pictures of us on the beach alone while it was still groomed and footprint free.

We were in the Walt suite, so I don't know if that made a difference or not. We also had her as our Concierge on the Magic last year, and from our experience with her, I think it is something special she does (she didn't offer last year though). We did take her up on the offer and she met us at the end of the gangway and escorted us over to the golf cart. The driver went down the normal tram roadway and then went on a "CM only" path behind Cookies and dropped us off at the Serenity Bay tram stop. We left the ship around 9:30 and that part of the beach had very few people when we arrived, so we had our choice of where we wanted to sit.

Nope, we just had a centre 3 so it's not the cat. Maybe it's just a new little perk.

Galactus - if priority disembarking is important to you, just discuss it with your concierge. Since they became a "tipped" position I find they go further out of their way to help. Not that they weren't great before, but I did notice a difference on my last trip. In the past you could call them anytime you wanted but other than the daily treats I hardly saw them. This time Patty made sure to speak to me at least once a day to see how my cruise was and ask if there was anything she could do. I bet if they can, they will find a way to put you at the front of the line or even try to let you exit the staff ramp.

At tender ports, concierge guests can get priority tender tickets...first tender off after any medical or security needs. However, I've never heard of priority disembarkation at ports where the ship docks.

The family of the day is another of those special perks for being at the right place at the right time with the right CM!

Awesome story! :wizard: Curious, how early were you in line? I'm a night owl, so I'm never first in line anywhere--unless I'm still awake from the night before.

No I too have never heard of priority debarkation for suites. I have heard that they will bring you to which ever beach you might wish to visit but no earlier than other guests.
