Prioritizing tickets in MDE & Fastpasses? Help me wise Dissers!

We will be using the 4 day Military Salute passes on our upcoming trip. I have purchased and linked these in MDE. However, my account still shows the the old, non-expiring tickets we used on our last trip. Although there are still a few days left on those tickets, we want to save them for later. I have read that I can prioritize the tickets I want to use first, but I haven't figured out HOW. Can I do it myself online? Or do I wait until arriving and do it at the ticket booth (we'll have to go there anyway to activate the military tickets)?

Also, are fastpasses linked to our MDE account, or to specific tickets? If I book fastpasses before the correct ticket has been prioritized, and then change the ticket I'm using will the fastpasses come with me? I'd hate to lose them!

2. It must be done by Guest Relations at WDW when you are there.
