Just wondering about printing pictures from your digital camera. I am planning on printing at an actual store. Will I need to burn the pictures to a cd first and take the cd into the store or can I just take my memory card into the store and they can print from that??
Thanks:confused:

There are 2 ways:

1. Save your digital pictures in a CD or floppy disk and bring them to a photo store loke Costco.

2. Upload the pictures and send them directly to the web site of the photo store like Wal-Mart or Future Shop. When they are ready (usually in one day, can be on the same day), you just go and pick up.

You can also take your Memory Card to places such as CVS, KMART, Walmart, etc... and process your pics on the Kodak Picture Centers. They are easy to use and you can edit as you go.

I use Ofoto.com. Prints are 29cents each and they do a great job. You upload to their site and they print and mail to you.

I would also reccomend Ofoto..the price is great and they do a great job!

Ofoto is good.

Shutterfly I found good also. Both print for about the same. I find shutterfly easier to use and share with others (for free).

My two cents

Costco if you have access to one is $.19 per 4X6 and does an excellent job. Just bring in a CD or a memory card with the pictures you want to print.

I use ofoto.com as well and just love their pictures. We just got back from the Grand Canyon and had over 100 pictures developed through ofoto. THe colors were fantastic!! I also send them over the net to my family and they can order the pics they want instead of me sending a bunch of the ones I think they want. It is free to share your photos with friends and family too!! IT is run by Kodak

Check them out!!

Just wanted to put in another plug for Costco - Can't beat 19 cents! The quality is great!!

I have tried both Costco and Walmart. Costco is 19 cents and Walmart is 26. I prefer Walmart, and I will tell you why. At Walmart you can manipulate the image on the screen, zoom, rotate, red eye, brightness. At Costco you can only print whatever is on your media (memory stick, CD, disk....) At Costco you can only see a small image of your shot, about one inch by two. At Walmart you see a much larger image, at least 4X6, much easier to see which shot y ou want to print.

Just my opinion....;)
