Any issues with printing pictures from Photopass? Sams Club won't do it even with the Photopass release.

anyone else have problems?

I have purchased the photopass twice and always printed them out at CVS. No problem. I did have the release with me that Disney sends but they never asked.

I just had some pictures printed at Walmart. Initially they wanted me to print out a copy of the release but after telling them a few times that it is on the CD they gave in and asked me to sign a release for them. Good Luck!

Thats right - I was thinking of a release we got from our wedding photographer. The release from Disney is on the CD.

We've used Walgreens with no problems.

I've used Sam's Club and Costco both w/o problems. I just uploaded them to the website and printed them. Noone ever questioned me. I printed the release but noone ever asked for it.

Walgreens, Shutterfly, and Snapfish with no problems. I had the release with me when I picked up my prints at Walgreens and wasn't asked for it.

Also, I ordered photo postcards with MOO.com once using some of my Photopass pics. I contacted them via their contact form once I placed the order and provided my order number and told them I could send the release form to them. A very nice CS agent wrote me back and told me it wasn't a problem, that they were familiar with Photopass, knew that a release came with the pictures, and they could tell easily that I had to have purchased the rights to the images to have them at the resolution I had them.

Did they give a reason for refusing? You have the release so there is absolutely no reason why they shouldnt be able to provide the service for you. I would ask to see a manager.

I agree with that.

Last time I ordered a CD there was an official printout of the release in the case, along with a copy on the CD. It's pretty clear that it's allowed to make prints!

I use Kodak Gallery with no issues, and I didn't even need to send in the release...I just uploaded to the website as normal and ordered my prints.

The case for the CD has the release on it. I've never been questioned at CVS, Walgreens, Wal-mart...

The major difference between pictures on the CD and pictures printed at Disney, is all of them are printed with a copyright logo in the corner at Disney.

Thanks everyone. I sent my husband in to pick the pics up. He had the release in hand. Ughh!!! He didn't argue the point.

I'm going back tomorrow. I just want to print the darn pictures so I can start scrapbooking. So frustrating. Otherwise I'm going somewhere else.

I purchased the CD for the first time this past summer and I havent gotten any prints yet because I was worried about ordering them online and having them not printed because of the release. I made the mistake of trying to be "proactive" and emailed the Kodak Gallery customer service and asked how to go about getting the prints since I had the release allowing me to print them. They emailed me a form that they wanted the photographer to sign. Obviously that wasnt gonna work. So at that point I called them and they told me to order the prints and that they would be held because of the copyright and I would receive an email and then to fax over the copyright release and hopefully that would allow the prints to be printed. I havent bothered yet because it just seemed like alot of work when I have plenty of pictures from our trip and I figured I have the CD to look at them. Maybe I should try anyway since it sounds like not many people have had any problems.

I printed mine at SAMS and Walmart no problem. They kept a copy of my release on file for my online orders. I printed it along with the pictures, BUT, also made a hard copy to take with me. Speak to a manager!
