Printing PhotoPass Pictures

I've ordered PP pix from Sam's many times with no problem. I usually upload them from home and then pick them up. I bring the release with me-sometimes they ask, sometimes they don't. My DD10's school pictures are also on a CD now. Again, sometimes they ask for the release, sometimes they don't.

If you have a problem again, ask for a manager. There's no reason they should deny you your copies. More and more companies are allowing you to buy a CD now with photo orders. I just noticed that my DD's softball picture order form now as a CD as well. This is really becoming commonplace.

Good luck:wizard:

winkflash.com prints anything..... even stuff they arent' suppose to. :rolleyes1

I used snapfish, shutterfly, target, CVS. I just uploaded the digital release to their pages and had no problems.

I mainly use Arts Camera ( a camera store), but sometimes Target and have never had a problem with those. I have given up on Walmart!!! They always seem to give me trouble, even on pics I TOOK WITH MY OWN CAMERA!! I have taken in the memory card, the camera, everything to prove I took them. It was always a such a hassle, I just told them one day after arguing forever that I was never going to purchase pics from them again, and I haven't. It really frustrated me that they would print all the pics I ordered, but wouldn't sell them to me. I mean really, what are they going to do with all my pics? I understand why they have their policy, but seriously, if you can prove they are legal, then hand the darn pics over!! Sorry, done venting. Can you tell Walmart is not my favorite place.

I purchased the CD for the first time this past summer and I havent gotten any prints yet because I was worried about ordering them online and having them not printed because of the release. I made the mistake of trying to be "proactive" and emailed the Kodak Gallery customer service and asked how to go about getting the prints since I had the release allowing me to print them. They emailed me a form that they wanted the photographer to sign. Obviously that wasnt gonna work. So at that point I called them and they told me to order the prints and that they would be held because of the copyright and I would receive an email and then to fax over the copyright release and hopefully that would allow the prints to be printed. I havent bothered yet because it just seemed like alot of work when I have plenty of pictures from our trip and I figured I have the CD to look at them. Maybe I should try anyway since it sounds like not many people have had any problems.

FWIW, I emailed mpix about the photographer's release of our wedding pictures, when we got the CDs etc etc, and they wanted stuff to be faxed in...but then I just uploaded them and ordered, and the pix were sent to me no problem. I have the release if they ever need it, but I figure they'd have to actually *notice* the pictures first, and they didn't notice them.

I imagine kodakgallery is even more automated than mpix, so I'd just go ahead and order. You *have* the release, might as well just order, and if they need it they'll let you know!

A Walmart up in Edmonton Canada refused to sell a former friend her baby announcements, saying that they were professional and she was copying them. She'd made them up on her computer with photoshop, from pix she'd taken. They even tried to confiscate her memory card! That did NOT happen, and she refused to step foot in there again.
