Printing Digital Pics

Is there somewhere on Disney Property or nearby where I can get some digital pics printed? And if so, any idea of the cost? We'll be there in December and I wanted to mail out my Christmas cards from Disney with some photos included. We wont have transportation so I need something close.

I'd also be very interested if there was somewhere I could burn my photos to CD (particularly if it's in AKL). I'll be bringing extra memory cards, but would like to make copies to be safe.

I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that the photo shops in each of the parks can do this. Hopefully, somone out there can verify this.

I know that you can burn pics from memory cards to disk at WDW . A CD costs $11.95 plus tax and is limited to 120 pics per CD. The machines are located behind the scenes at all the parks except MK, where there are 2 self-service machines at exposition hall . In the other parks, just ask a CM in the camera shops.

If you have transportation, any of the Walgreens stores in the WDW area also do photo downloads to CD; cost here is only $3.99 per CD for as many pics as the CD will hold.

As far as Printing pics, I have used the Walmart in Kissimee. I think it was 19 or 29 cents a pic

I used Walmart in Kissimmee to print some photos from my Fuji Finepix F440 4.1MP camera, and they were top notch and very cheap

You can print up pictures in the camera place on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom, but be forewarned that they are expensive--around 70 cents a piece (which is a lot when you can usually get them for 20 or 30 cents at other places).

Depending on how many you have to make, it may be cheaper to get a photo printer and bring it with you.

Hop in the car and drive over to Walgreen's. There are two nearby, on 535. (I usually visit the one on the strip near Joe's Crab Shack.) They are quick and cheap -- much MUCH cheaper than what you'll pay in the parks. I used them during our trip last month and they were great. Printed about 20 snapshots for just three or four bucks, as I recall.

Walgreens should be able to print your pics off too. Should be about the same a walmart. The closes walgreens would just outside of DTD. Maybe take a taxi to it for DTD to make it cheap ride.

I bring my Epson Picture Mate printer with me on vacation now. Cost per print is 29 cents for a 4x6 print. I love that printer.
