I just started using the Scrapbook Deluxe 3.0 program and absolutely love it. I was able to get about 10 pages done last night. The problem I am now encountering is where does everyone get these printed at? I don't want to print at home. I don't have a Sams or a Costco close to me and Walmart andCVS don't print. I tried uploading the Scrapbook Pictures but some reason didn't work. Can anyone tell me perhaps what I am doing wrong or where you go for the quality printing of a 12x12 page? I appreciate any and all advice/opinions etc.
Thanks

I just posted this in a thread a few posts down, so I am just copying the whole thing.

We've been discussing digital scrapbooking quite a bit lately... I searched through and found some of the posts for you to look at, many have a lot of really good info. I may have missed a thread or two, but I think I got all of the ones with information to share.

I use Paint Shop Pro X. I find it very easy to use, although I was confused at first. I started with the tutorials at www.digitalscrapbookplace.com and www.scrapgirls.com, I found theirs the most helpful. It really helped me "click" into getting the whole digital thing, once I realized that the layers are just like doing paper scrapbooking. Your bottom layer is a background and then you add your pictures and embellishments on top of that, each of them is on their own layer, just like on paper. Both the sites above have forums and chats, which they call crops, that can really help you out and understand the process a lot more.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions, we will gladly try to help out.

Forgive me I'm lazy to look for the link, but on the boards at Scrapbook.com someone was just asking about the same under the Digital scrapping forum.
There were website suggestions............

ALSO found on same was a thread by a company DotAlliance associated with FotoFusion digital scrapbooking software that asked you to take a survey asking you about how much you would pay per page for 12 x 12 prints and few other things. Very quick survey, and enters you for free software giveway if you do survey. I think that thread also mentions where to print 12 x 12. I think using a webservice is a far better option that switching to a 12 x 12 printer as someone prior to this thread was asking because there a =re little choices at high costs.

HTH (Hope that Helps)

Mpix prints 12 x 12 for under $6. I still prefer to print mine at home but it's not really less expensive.

Hi,

I'm unsure if you resolved your problem yet..but I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents....

I don't use the program you do, I used Photoshop- but usually most photo programs save in a different format. I know photoshop saves in the adobe format. I have to convert this to JPEG and save to my desktop in order to upload to my photo processing site. ( I use scrapbookpictures.com & the quality is fantastic- all Feb they have a sale on 12x12 pics for $2.49).

Another tip, as another poster put, is that in most of these programs you create layouts in 'layers'. In order to get your finished product out of the program and into a site that requires uploading you must flatten the image to combine all the layers into one. For Photoshop you go under the option Layers, Flatten Image. Then from there save it as a JPEG.

Don't know if this will help you at all! Good Luck!
