Put this under the I am a whiner catagory. I am so conflicted with the printable coupons. Nice there are extra coupons out there, but it is so time consuming to search for them, THEN half the time they make you click around their site searching for the small box in the corner for coupons, THEN you have to fill out all your info, THEN they want your friends addresses to "send them offers as well" THEN you finally get to the coupon and you get the dreaded, sorry all prints for this offer are taken. So very aggrevating.
Or, you go to print the coupon and it says you already printed it.....ummm no I did not. Or it will only let you print one instead of the usual two.
Tonite I thought I was printing out a coupon for a dollar off Cheerios. Well, when it printed it was one dollar off every other General Mills Cereal except Cheerios, so I go back and try again, find it and they tell me I already printed off my coupon and I cannot have another one.
All I want to do is save a buck on some darn Cheerios. It should not be so hard. Well....I'll show you, I will not buy your Cheerios, I will buy a different cereal that is not so difficult.
It is simply easier to buy a newspaper and cut out the coupons. That way if I want 6 coupons, I buy 6 papers or beg my friends for their coupons.
Anyone else frusterated with the printable internet coupons?
Don't even get me started on the response of half the stores. If I am accused of trying to pass one counterfit xeroxed 50 cent off coupon by some clerk one more time..........They do not get that coupons can be printed off the internet, I have actually been accused of taking the sunday coupons and xeroxing it.
OK I feel better now, but just a little:)

I usually get my online coupons from either smartsource.com or coupons.com

they usually have similiar coupons to the manufactures, easier to print, can print multis (I print off my machine, hubbys, work, and laptop on some coupons).

I've been slack about using them recently due to time constraints and buying more generic (store sales on named brand not been as good) and purchasing more items that don't have coupons (fresh or frozen fruit/veggies versus instant mash potatoes)

I also use a local website (stlmommy.com) which will direct you straight to alot of those loose coupons and then I use google autofill to make filling out forms a breeze.

Ack!

I totally feel your pain.

The only way to get Target store coupons is to print them out. Well, three quarters of the time they don't print. I just get the message that my coupons have printed. Well, no they haven't. But I can't print any more because I've printed my limit.

Sooooooo Soooo frustrating.:headache:

We also get target coupons in our sunday coupon inserts (just cut some out last night)

WINCO which is the cheapest grocery store will not even take printable coupons any more. So I don't even bother. With the coupon and buying at a regular grocery store I stll pay more then if I bought w/o at WINCO.

I use a link through thegrocerygame.com and haven't had a problem. I have noticed that some of my Smart Source Coupons don't print the price. This has thrown my checker at the grocery store for a loop. but they still scan!
Good luck

It really ticks me off when a coupon prints an ad below the coupon. What a waste of ink. I have a high-end printer I used for desktop publishing work I do out of my home. It uses color to make black and white printing look better. I printed out one coupon recently that printed a fully color saturated 2 1/2" by 5" ad. ARRRGH!!!!

I use smartsource through MyPoints. I never have any of the ussues that the OP experiences and I actually tend to use more of the printable coupons than the newspaper ones. Hopefully my grocery will continue to take them.

I hate when that happens too. I usually find a way to flip it over and print two coupons on the bottom half.

Don't forget redplum.com too. Although they are one of the stinkers that tell you "you've already printed this." They limit the amount you can print. I need to ask hubby to print from work pc's. That b1/g1 free on the dog biscuits is worth its weight in gold. My bil loves spoiling the dogs, I keep him supplied in dog biscuits.

I agree with PP...printable coupons are definitely sponsored by the toner makers of America! :rotfl:

I also have trouble every time I try to use them in the store...the clerk has know the secret hand motion of partially covering the bar code stripey things to make it work as they scan it, only a select few know about this...:upsidedow
