I wonder if anyone can help?

We bought print at home, 2 park, undated, 7 day universal tickets in 2008which are activated by the first entry.

It states to go direct to the turnstiles and bring the credit card used to purchase the tickets and also bring photo ID.

The credit card I have now has slightly different numbers even though it is the same company due to it being replaced. I have kept the original credit card statement from 2008 which shows the universal purchase. So I guess I should take that.

The only photo ID all the family has is passports but I dont really want to take them into a park. Does anyone know if you can take colour photo copies.

I thought we would have used the tickets by now but just havent managed to get over there!!!

Any thoughts would be appreciated.:confused3

go to guest services to have them help you.
many people change credit cards, cancel them or have numbers changed on them over the years.

what you used in 2008 is different now.

you won't have a problem with the tickets.

about the photo id, i just don't know.
you could send them (guest services) an email and ask in advance.
they do respond to inquiries.
sometimes they call you back instead of an email.

but only if you list your phone number that is.

there is a guest service outside each park and inside each park

hope you have fun on your darkside vacation....

you only have been waiting for 4 years for it!

those with the older 7 day passes do need to go to guest services first.
i read somewhere on the forums one person was directed there as their 7 day pass wasn't scanning.

With a Print at Home Ticket, sometimes they do ask for an ID to match the name on the Ticket and that's typically for anyone over the age of 18. With the Credit Card, I think they put that part in the event it doesn't scan, you can always pick them up at the Ticket Booth. Now, if the Print at Home Ticket order has a confirmation number, you should be able to pick them at the Ticket Booth.

Is there a "guest services" at Royal Pacific to help us with the old 7-day tickets? We also have them from 2009 right before the prices went up. They are printed out with a bar code. We will be getting there super early to check-in and go straight to the park and would rather not have to also go to guest services.

If I were you, I would recommend going to guest services at the park. The on-site hotels, I don't think can print tickets from older orders.

the 2 hotels are owned by Loews and not by Universal.

the concierge can give you information about the parks but can not help you with your ticket issue as far as i am aware.
policies do change at times and you never know about it unless you ask directly to the source. (concierge at hotel regarding ticket help, info directly from universal guest services, etc)

the 7 day 2009 passes will be valid.
i still have tickets from 1996 that are valid.
i had them checked at guests services some years back.
those universal tickets that were sold back then, never expire if they have never been used.

guest services opens 30 minutes prior to the park opening.
there is one at each park located outside of the park.

take the 2009 passes and guest services will help you.

some of the scanners at the gate will not read those older passes.
7 day passes are no longer issued as they have been done away with.
but, they are still valid thus the need to exchange them at guest services.

since the 7 day passes are no longer being sold, i would imagine the scanner issue is due to them not being programmed for them.
that's just my guess.

each onsite hotel does have a kiosh where you can pick up tickets purchased online.

i think concierge in the lobby would also sell UO tickets.
(i have the ap and don't remember about ticket sales in the hotel)

i think the best way to deal with this now is to send guest services an email.

tell them you have the 7 day passes and want to avoid going to guest services in the morning as you want to use the early entry for parry hotter at ioa.

ask them if there is anyway you can use the 7 day passes w/o exchanging them.

include your phone number in the email.

if there is anyway something can be done to help you now, they will let you know.
i have found that the TM's at guest services are efficient and helpful.

i think if you contact GS directly, you will get the up to date, official answer on how to use the 7 day passes without delaying your early morning park time.

wish you the best in working this out prior to your vacation!
