Princessess Still at CRT Lunch?

Since the new changes with the whole fixed price menu and such, do the princesses still walk around and take pictures with you during the lunch? TIA!

We did the lunch in Dec 2005. The princesses did come to the table's and other than the food it was exactly like the breakfast. The only difference was the food.

We liked it better than the breakfast. My DD5 loved the little crowns made of cholcolate that came on the dessert after lunch.

I'm not sure if it has changed since then.

Yes it has changed since December. (As of 2-1-06) It is now a wopping $33.99 for an adult and a ridiculous $22.99 for children...definitely the most expensive chicken fingers I've ever heard of or any other children's average menu item (wonder if they're filet mignon fingers????)

The princesses do walk around and they try to justify these prices by including a photo package EXCEPT the photo isn't with the princesses, it's in the lobby!! I just don't get it! I'd never fork out the $$ for this...$22.99 for chicken fingers, c'mon....

The pictures were not included with our meal in Dec. 05'. We were able to purchase the pictures for aroun $30 I think. It was an 8x10, picture of the castle and 4 4x6 pictures. My DD posed with Cinderella. It is one of the best pictures ever. The lobby of the CRT is beautiful and makes for an excellent background.

I don't remember how much our lunch was but we all agreed it was worth it!

I know the prices already went up. I was just making sure the princesses still walked around like at breakfast. As stupid as this sounds, I bought a crap load of princess stuff for my scrapbook and I want to make sure I'll have pictures to go with it!

That's great, but I still think you should have that CHOICE to purchase the photos. You shouldn't HAVE TO purchase them automatically, what if they don't come out good? NOW you have no CHOICE!! You are stuck!!

I don't think they consider it that you're purchasing them. More like it's a perk with the meal despite the price increases.

We just had lunch there last week and yes, the princesses walk around and take pictures and sign books at every table. First you get your pix taken with cinderella (this is the only time you wil see her!) then you got the dining room. We saw Snow white, Aurora, Fairy godmother and Mary poppins. They were all very sweet and talkative! Lunch was good and when we were done we got 1- 8x10 and 4-4x6 pix of the DD's w/ Cindy. The pix are included in the price of the meal. We used 2 TS credits each on the DDP to eat there and it was worth it for us because it was our first time ever to WDW! Have fun!

Belle is the only one we didn't see all week. Although we did see B&B at MGM and she is now my DH's fave too...what is it about her? Hee Hee! Thw picture of the castle is beautiful and the pix of my DD's w/ Cindy was great! We made the mistake of going on splash Mtn before hand and got SOAKED but dried off in time and the my girls and cindy looked beautiful! Have tons of fun!

Here's the picture of the castle they give you. It comes in a blue matting and is in a folder/jacket type frame along with the Cinderella photo. Cinderella's mice are in the folder/jacket. Really cute!
